Charity's You can craft for!

So, I've been getting emails from different charities that are looking for Knitters, Crocheters and sewers to make gifts for the needy and thought I would share them all here.

The Snuggles Project is a neat way to send a little love to homeless pets.

The Preemie Project comforts premature and critically ill infants and their families at The University of Iowa Children’s Hospital by giving gifts of hats, booties and blankets that have been handcrafted by a devoted group of local and national volunteers.

Warm Up America! (WUA!) is an organization made up of volunteers who create handmade afghan blankets, clothing and accessories to help those in need.

Krochet Krystal's Daisy afghans for charities. Crochet a daisy square (or as many as you like) send them to Krystal and she puts them together and sends them to local charities.

Knit or Crochet Helmet liners for the troops.

If you know of a charity, please let me know and I will add it to my list. I am also going to add these links to the side of my blog for permenant availability.

Faery Charms

These are some faery charms I made to sell.  I think they will be the only ones I make as well because they were such a pain to create!  LOL

Update on Baby Doll

So I have her head attached to the body now and her face is done...  Waiting on the next lesson.

Picture of her with the fabrics I will be using for her outfit and wings.

Close up of her face, isn't she adorable?

I am waiting on her hair, it was special ordered from Rynda Original Designs.  It is Hand-Dyed Tibetan Lamb Skin, in Heather Blue.  This is so exciting!

Painted Cross Stitch Fabric

I painted some cross stitch fabric today for a project I will be working on in between the stitchalong pieces.  It was one that was given to me in March and I never got around to doing it.  LOL  Here's the fabbie, click to see larger:

The project came with some fabric, but I messed up and have to start it over so I thought I would make some fabbie to go with the awesome design.

Native American Theme Decals

Over the weekend I caused some injury to my knee so I've not been too mobile but now that things are somewhat back to normal (minus the brace) I can get back to work.

These were a special request and I just LOVE how the colors came out!
